European Trauma Course Organisation (ETCO)

ETC is a joint initiative of following societies:

 

In 2013 the four ETC partner societies (ERC, ESTES, EuSEM and ESA) have formalised their cooperation and founded the ETCO.

The ETCO is a non-profit organisation registered in Belgium and located within the ERC Office.

The main goal of the ETCO joint venture is facilitating the management, development and the international implementation of the ETC programme.

The ETCO consists of the:

  • Board
  • Course Management Committee (CMC).

 

Board:

The Board is formed by delegates of the corresponding organisations (ERC, ESTES, EuSEM and ESA) with high experience in the field of trauma management.

Course Management Committee (CMC):

The CMC is an international and multi-specialty group of experts in the field of trauma and medical education. This group has developed, piloted and implemented the ETC in Europe, on behalf of the partner organisations. The main focus of CMC is overseeing the operational management of the ETC programme.
