European Trauma Course Organisation (ETCO)

ETC ist eine gemeinsame Initiative von folgenden Gesellschaften:

• European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
• European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ESTES)
• European Society for Emergency Medicine (EuSEM)
• European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA)

Im Jahr 2013 haben die vier Organisationen (ERC, ESTES, EuSEM and ESA) die European Trauma Course Organisation (ETCO) gegründet. 

Das ETCO ist eine Non-Profit Organisation mit Hauptsitz und Büro in Belgien.

Das Hauptziel des ETCO ist die Erleichterung der Verwaltung, Entwicklung und die internationale Umsetzung des ETC-Programms.  

Das ETCO besteht aus:

• Vorstand
• Course Management Committee (CMC).

Vorstand:

Der Vorstand ist von den Delegierten der entsprechenden Organisationen (ERC, ESTES, EuSEM und ESA) mit Personen mit großer Erfahrung im Bereich des Trauma-Management gebildet worden.

Course Management Committee (CMC):

The CMC ist eine internationale und aus mehreren  Fachrichtungen bestehende Gruppe von Personen mit besonderer Erfahrung im Bereich der Traumaversorgung und der Ausbildung. Diese Gruppe hat mit Partnerorganisationen den ETC geplant, durchgeführt und in Europa implementiert. Der Schwerpunkt des CMC ist die Gewährleistung der konformen Durchführung des ETC Programms.
